Things that GO books!

I think three is the best age in the world.  Here are two great books for any three year old (other ages will like them too... but 100% perfect for a three year old).

Night Light by Nicholas Blechman (published by Scholastic in April of this year) is a cool di-cut book.  On the first set of pages you see light shining through the black, flip the page...
...and you see what vehicle the lights are coming from.  All my kids had a ball looking through this book repeatedly after I initially read it to them.  Kids just love sticking their tiny fingers through those fun di-cut holes.

Red Car, Red Bus by Susan Steggall (Frances Lincoln Children's Books, 2012) is one I picked up at the library.  It's an extra long book, a really cool size.  It's become an instant favorite of ours.  Kitten and I just love it.  It's so simple- on each page another colored vehicle joins the road.
The illustrations are so stunning!!!  I want you all to see what the rain looks like falling from the clouds (I couldn't get a decent picture of it, you've gotta see it in real life).  It's just so cool!!!  Find a copy (even if you don't have a preschooler) it's worth it!
 Oh to be three...
