Holiday Hand Print Wreath

Remember the fantastic hand print wreath Whitney and her kids made to embrace fall for a little bit longer?
I totally copied her idea... with two exceptions.  I went to Snoopy's class and got hand prints from all of his classmates   & this wreath is Christmas colored.

It's a gift for their wonderful first grade teacher.  The kids will give it to her before they leave for the Thanksgiving holiday.  I'm thinking she's going to absolutely love it!

About Christmas books?  I think I'm going to get our stash out today.  The three I'm looking most forward to reading are...

Santa Mouse Stories by Michael Brown, I picked this book up in a bargain book bin earlier this year and it just looks so adorable and funny!

Mr. Willowby's Christmas Tree by Robert Barry, which I discovered last year through bloggy friends and I LOVE it so much!

Who Is Coming to Our House? by Joseph Slate, is my favorite picture book about the birth of Christ.  It's simple, sweet and beautifully illustrated.

What do I think the kids are going to want to read the most?

The Christmas Witch by Steven Kellogg, have you read this one?  It's super long and convoluted.  I picked it up at a thrift store a few years ago and my kids (especially Snoopy) LOVED it.

It's Christmas, David! by David Shannon, oh man... I just KNOW this book will get read over the next several weeks more than any others.

What's your favorite Christmas book?  You know if I don't have it yet I'm going to want to get it!!!
