Back to School Books for Kids

Giant pencils are hanging from the ceiling in Target and all Lilac's pants are inexplicably too short to be worn in public. So that can really only mean one thing: some how back to school time has suddenly crept upon us, despite all my efforts to relish in all things summer.  I'd beter make sure her tennis shoes still fit...I'm sure they won't and I will be taking all my small tornadoes into the shoe store...oh yay!  (robyn hijacking here... I'm supposed to be checking if my kids clothes still fit?  What happened to July?)

So, back to school, sorry I got distracted there.  We've got one of our big lists for you. These are books (that we have read and liked) about starting school and heading back. Remember, and asterisk means we have a post about that one. They should be fun library picks over the next few weeks to get the kids in a school-ish mood...
