Here are the fishes... that could be yours.
Sorry- this giveaway is now closed, but don't worry, we'll have more-- and there's a great list of books in this post. So, all is not lost!
So you're probably wondering "What's the deal with the fish?"  Well, I'll tell you (and start off our top ten fish book list all at once) Over a year ago I (Robyn) was reading out of this book...

Richard Scarry's Best Storybook Ever! ,it's filled with lots of short stories, pictures, lists and comics... a great book with TONS to enjoy.  This particular comic, Tom the Fishing Cat, has been a favorite for a while and one day while reading, my oldest son wished out loud that he had a fish just like the one in the story.  I said "I bet I could make one"... the rest is history.  I've been making fish ever since.  My kid's collection is pretty HUGE.  It's made me think...
"if my kids love these fish so much, maybe others will too." -r

Somewhere in the Ocean-Here's an oceanic re-make of the classic Over in the Meadow which is a rythmic number book I became fixated on a few years back. Plus this one has hidden pictures and animals bios in the back. -w

The Fantastic Undersea Life of Jacques Cousteau a beautiful children's book biography.  Every time we read it the boys ask if Jacques Cousteau is a real person.  I've been thinking I should get my hands on some of his films.  -r

Mister Seahorse & A House for Hermit Crab - Two fish themed books by ERIC CARLE-- really, need I say more?  The kids and I couldn't agree on which was the favorite so they both made the list. -w

McElligot's Pool, one of my favorite Seuss books (I may say that about every Seuss book).  Really though, I love his fishies, and Marco's positive attitude is the best.  -r

Fish and Flamingo- This is a book about a unique pair of friends who give each other an unusual gift.  The storyline has caught the attetion of all ages in this house.  PS- seems not to be readily available via Amazon, we found it at our local library. -w

Swimmy , featuring Lionni's award winning illustrations and the story of a daring adventurous young fish.  I love it!  -r

Flotsam Mysterious and magical! A wordless wonder ala Wiesner-- who, in case you didn't know, is an ILLUSTRATION God!  - w

Trout, Trout, Trout!: A Fish Chant these illustrations are SO MUCH FUN... and the text, so great.  We've spent hours reading this book (plus the end includes more information on each featured fish, very cool).  -r

Fish Eyes: A Book You Can Count On Great little counting book and illustrations that exude the bright, engaging Lois Elhert flare! Also, the star of the activity seen here. -W
A fish poem found in Deans Gift Book of Nursery RhymesThe illustrations in this book are so beautiful.  I just had to include it as a bonus for our list.  That sweet little girl in red t-straps and pink gingham!  And such a wonderful nursery rhyme.  -r

Sorry, it ended. Remember? Really I promise we'll have more though! And, doesn't Robyn make awesme fish?

Happy fishing-
